1. Ball

All Levels 16 - 20 centimetres diameter and weight minimum 300 grams
   

2. Clubs

All Levels 40 - 50 centimetres length and minimum 150 grams weight per club.
   

3. Hoop

Level 3 minimum 75 centimetres diameter and minimum weight 200 grams
Level 4 and 5 minimum 80 centimetres diameter and minimum weight 300 grams
Level 2 Group minimum 70 centimetres diameter and minimum weight 200 grams
   

4. Ribbon

All Levels minimum 5 metres in length
   

5. Rope

All Levels Proportionate to the height of the gymnast


The F.I.G. Executive Committee recommends the use of luminous, very bright and visible colours for the rope and clubs.

1. Ball

Material: Rubber or plastic
Weight: 400 grams minimum
Diameter: 18 - 20 centimetres
Colour: Optional

2. Clubs

Material: Wood, plastic or rubber
Length: 40-50 centimetres
Weight: Minimum 150 grams per club
Shape: Form similar to that of a bottle with a body (thick end), neck, and a head (small end).
The head has a maximum diameter of 3 centimetres and may be wrapped in an anti-slip material respecting the diameter dimensions.
The neck may also be covered with adhesive tape.
Colour: Optional

3. Hoop

Material Wood or plastic
Weight: Minimum 300 grams
Diameter: Inner diameter must be between 80-90 centimetres
Shape: Not prescribed (i.e. round, flat-surfaced, etc)
The hoop may be wrapped in an even manner with tape, respecting the inner diameter dimensions
Colour: Optional

4. Ribbon

Material: Satin or similar material
Weight: Minimum 35 grams without the stick
Width: 4-6 centimetres
Length: Junior National is 5 meters minimum, Senior National is 6 metres minimum.
The end attached to the stick is folded and doubled for 1 metre and stitched down both sides.
At the top, a reinforcement of 5 centimetre is permitted. This extremity may end in a cord or have a small eyelet to permit attachment to the stick.
Colour: Optional

4a. Ribbon Stick

Material: Wood, bamboo, plastic or fibre glass
Shape: Cylindrical, conical
Length: 50-60 centimetres
The bottom end of the stick may be covered in an adhesive, non-slip, tape for a maximum length of 10 centimetres

The top of the stick, to which is attached the ribbon, may consist of:
     A supple cord (thread, nylon) held in place by nylon thread would round the stick for a maximum of 5 centimetres
    A metal ring fixed directly onto the stick
    A metal ring (vertical, horizontal or oblique) fixed to the stick by two metal pins held in place by nylon or metallic
    thread wound round the stick for maximum of 5 centimetres
    A metal ring (fixed, mobile or pivoting) or a supple cord fixed to a metal tip of no more than 3 centimetres
    A metal ring fixed by two metal pins held by a metal tip of up to 3 centimetres, which is lengthened by nylon or metallic
    thread wound round the stick to a length of 5 centimetres in total.
    Diameter: Maximum 1 cm at its widest point

4b. Ribbon Attachment

The ribbon is fixed to the stick by means of a supple attachment such as thread, nylon and/or a series of articulated rings.
The length of this attachment is a maximum of 7 centimetres without counting the cord or metal ring at the end of the stick where it will be fastened.
Adhesive tape may be used to close the attachment.

5. Rope

Material: Hemp or similar suitable material
Length: Proportionate to the height of the gymnast
Thickness: Uniform diameter or reinforced in the centre (i.e. progressively thicker)
Ends: Both ends may have 1 knot, but cannot have handles.
The ends, up to a maximum of 10 centimetres, may be wrapped with an anti-slip material
Colour: No restriction but must be coloured
