Gymnasts from the Kanata Rhythmic Sportive Gymnastics Club were strong competitors in the annual Reach for the Stars Invitational competition held by York Stars Gymnastic Club, February 24-25, 2007.
KRSG sent nine provincial and two interclub gymnasts to the competition and they won four gold, three silver, three bronze and 22 4th-9th place Ribbons (3-4th, 5-5th, 3-6th, 5-7th, 3-8th and 3-9th).
In Level 4-A, Christine, finished 5th overall after finishing 10th in her Free Routine and 4th in her Ball Routine.
Also in Level 4-A, Jenna, finished 9th overall after finishing 7th in her Free Routine and 8th in her Ball Routine
In Level 4-B, Megan, won SILVER overall after winning GOLD in her Free Routine, GOLD in her Ribbon Routine and 6th in her Ball Routine
Also in Level 4-B, Lucinda, finished 4th overall after winning BRONZE in her Ball Routine, 8th in her Ribbon Routine and 7th in her Free Routine
Also in Level 4-B, Myranda, finished 9th overall after finishing 11th in her Free Routine, 8th in her Ribbon Routine and 9th in her Ball Routine
In Level 5-A, Caitlin, finished 5th overall after winning SILVER in her Free Routine, 5th in her Ribbon Routine and 5th in her Rope Routine.
Also in Level 5-A, Lauren, finished 7th overall after finishing 7th in her Free Routine, 6th in her Ribbon Routine and 6th in her Rope Routine.
In Level 5-C, Breanna, finished 5th overall after winning BRONZE in her Clubs Routine, 7th in her Ball Routine and 4th in her Rope Routine.
In the Provincial group competitions, Novice 2/3 Level the Kanata M&Ms won GOLD and in the same level the Kanata Lucky Charms won BRONZE.
In the Senior 2/3 Level, The Kanata Duo won SILVER with their energetic Rope Routine.
In the InterClub group competition, the Kanata Level 5 Duo won GOLD with their Hoop Routine.
