The 2007 Rhythmic Gymnastics RhythmFest and InterClub Invitational, hosted by Olympium Rhythmic Gymnastics Club on June 09, featured
some great routines from clubs across Ontario. Audiences were treated to beautifully choreographed routines which included free and
routines using apparatus such as ropes, hoops, clubs, balls and ribbon.
2 of KRSG’s provincial rhythmic gymnast and 1 InterClub Duo gave outstanding performances at both RhythmFest and the Invitational respectively. KRSG gymnast returned home with numerous medals to show for their efforts, all of which were gold (9 in total).
Lauren (Level 5-A) competed at RhythmFest and won a GOLD medal in her Free Routine, a GOLD medal in Rope, a GOLD medal in Ribbon and won the GOLD medal for her overall performance.
Brianna (Level 5-B) competed at RhythmFest and won a GOLD medal in her Hoop Routine, a GOLD medal in Ball, a GOLD medal in Ribbon and won the GOLD medal for her overall performance.
Kanata Level 5 Duo competed in the InterClub Invitational competition, the won GOLD with their Hoop Routine.
Kanata RSG Club is one of the largest rhythmic gymnastics clubs in Canada, and is a member in good standing of Gymnastics Ontario. The club is a full-service club, and is proud to have provided high quality rhythmic gymnastics programs to girls in Kanata and the surrounding area for over 30 years.
To provide information to interested parents and their daughters, there will be an Open House on June 23, 2007, from 12pm to 2pm at Bridlewood Community Elementary School in Kanata. During the Open House, ongoing demonstrations and displays will showcase the club and its gymnasts. The club will also be accepting early bird registrations for next falls recreational classes.
