The 2005 Eastern Ontario Provincial Qualifier was held April 3rd and hosted at Seneca College in Toronto, by Sport Seneca. The overall scores from each routine, per level, are totalled and the top 60% of Individual athletes from each level will advance to the Provincial Championships. The remaining 40% of Individual athletes from each level will advance to the Provincial RhythmFest Competition.
KRSG’s provincial rhythmic competitive team gave outstanding performances in the Provincial Championship Qualifiers and returned home with numerous medals and 4th - 8th place ribbons to show for their efforts. (14 medals - 6 Gold, 3 Silver and 5 Bronze. 9 Ribbons, 5 Fourth place, 1 Fifth place, 1 Sixth place, 1 Seventh place and 1 Eighth place).
This year 5 of KRSG’s 7 Provincial gymnast advanced to the provincial championships hosted by Olympium Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and scheduled to take place in Etobicoke on May 13th - 14th. While 2 will attend Rhythmfest on May 15th.
Jennifer (Level 6 Blue) finished 4th overall, after finishing 4th in her Ribbon, Hoop and Free Routines. She qualified for RhythmFest and her Eastern qualifier total combined with the Western qualifier totals qualified her in 7th place overall. Breanna (Level 5 Red) finished with a BRONZE medal overall, after winning a BRONZE in her Ribbon Routine, BRONZE in her Ball and BRONZE in her Rope. She qualified for Provincials and her Eastern qualifier total combined with the Western qualifier totals qualified her in 5th place overall.
Emily (Level 5 Blue) finished with a GOLD medal overall, after winning a GOLD in her Ribbon Routine, GOLD in her Free and GOLD in her Rope. She qualified for Provincials and her Eastern qualifier total combined with the Western qualifier totals qualified her in 1st place overall.
Caitlin (Level 5 Blue) finished 7th overall, after winning a BRONZE in her Ribbon Routine, finishing 9th in her Free and finishing 8th in her Rope. She qualified for Provincials and her Eastern qualifier total combined with the Western qualifier totals qualified her in 12th place overall.
Lauren (Level 4 Blue) finished 9th overall, after finishing 9th in her Free and Ball Routines. She qualified for RhythmFest and her Eastern qualifier total combined with the Western qualifier totals qualified her in 19th place overall.
Megan (Level 2 Blue) finished with a GOLD medal overall, after winning a GOLD in her Free and SILVER in her Rope. She qualified for Provincials and her Eastern qualifier total combined with the Western qualifier totals qualified her in 3rd place overall.
Myranda (Level 2 Blue) finished 4th overall, after finishing 6th in her Free and 5th in her Rope. She qualified for Provincials and her Eastern qualifier total combined with the Western qualifier totals qualified her in 12th place overall.
